Steps

  1. Pressure Cooking the Beef
    1. Peel our ginger, and apple. peeling ginger peeling an apple

    3. Slice onion up into large pieces. Slicing onion into large slices

    5. Turn the pressure cooker on saute mode and add the vegetable oil to it. Once hot add the stew meat. Brown the pieces on all sides about 7-8 minutes. setting pressure cooker to saute mode adding oil into pressure cooker adding seasoned stew meat into pressure cooker well browned stew meat
    6. Now add the onions, ginger, garlic and apple. Saute for a few minutes or until the onions turn translucent. Then turn off the pressure cooker.     8. Now put on the lid and set the pressure cooker to high pressure for 30 minutes. putting lid on pressure cooker setting pressure cooker to high pressure for 30 minutes
  2. Cooking the Veggies
    1. While the beef is cooking, let’s prep the rest of our ingredients. Peel carrots and the potatoes. Then cut them up into large bite sized pieces. peeling carrots peeling potatoes cutting potatoes up cutting up carrots
    2. After the 30 minutes is up, release the pressure from the cooker and take off the lid. Releasing pressure from cooker after 30 minutes

  3. Putting it All Together
    1. After 5 minutes, release the pressure from the cooker one last time. Take off the lid. Releasing pressure from pressure cooker after 5 minutes
    2. Take our boxed curry sauce and break it up into several pieces. Add it to the pressure cooker and mix it really well to dissolve the pieces.
