Steps

  1. Step 1 Prep
    1. Finely chop up onion and serrano.
    2. Peel garlic.
    3. Open can of pinto beans.
  2. Step 2 Cook Beans
    1. Add oil to small non stick saute pan or sauce pan. Heat over medium heat for a few minutes, until hot.
    2. Add onions and serrano to pan.
    3. When the onions are translucent, add cumin and oregano.
    4. Add pressed garlic and saute for another minute.
    5. Add the can of beans, juice and all to the pan.
    6. Cook beans for another 5 minutes or, stirring to ensure there is no sticking.
  3. Step 3 Garnishing
    1. Take off the heat, and add cilantro and lime if desired.. Then enjoy!
